Friday's Favourites.
Ahh, its Friday, while most people are excited for Fridays; they're the day I chill out, listen to music and drinks copious amounts of water from Wednesday and Thursday's antics. Here are some of my favourite tracks today!
Perfection!
Before its time!
Been up 3 hours on about the 8th play; always makes me feel good!
You can't have a chill out day unless it has some Dilla!
So while most of the world is out enjoying freedom for 3 days; i'm going to sit in doors and close my eyes and enjoy the music!

Introducing; Bandicoot/Majora
While I will be getting Bandicoot to do an interview and DJ mix for the blog soon, I thought it would be good practice to introduce you guys to some of his music before hand!
Bandicoot is a 18 year old producer from Reading, England who has been rising up the ranks over the last year or so; making beautifully percussive and melodic bass music at various different bpm's hes a multi-talented, multi-genre Artist.
Throwing a free monthly club night in Reading Bandicoot is uses this as a platform to push the more bass-heavy and relaxing side of music booking artists like Mindstep's head honcho & RinseFM Dj, Crises and Syte, as well as myself, Legend4ry and various other artists!
I can't wait for what the future brings for the not even 20-something from Reading but I know it will be big things!
He has just released a EP on MindstepMusic which is the first Soundcloud player; if you enjoy it don't forget to support!
Bandicoot-Left Behind EP ft Legend4ry (OUT NOW ON MINDSTEP MUSIC) by Bandicoot / Majora
Bandicoot-Undecided Choice (3RDEYE-LDN) by Bandicoot / Majora
Admin-Pink Gloves (Majora Remix) (B.YRSLF PROMO 320 DOWNLOAD NOW) by Bandicoot / Majora

Why do HBO drama's have crap intro songs?
Heres a bit of an obscure post and I try not to detract from the blog's theme too much but this is an issue what needs to be dealt with, immediately.
So I am re-watching The Wire for the third time (since nothing is as perfect as it, do you blame me? Everything else seems as thin as a pancake) and I just realised; every HBO show I have watched has had an absolutely terrible theme song.. Let me give some examples.

Albums I love; what flopped.
First up; JME - Tropical
This instrumental mix tape to me is primitive UKFunky. I don't know why exactly; its a pretty summer-time garagey album but every time I listen to funky I just remember this album, it came as a 2nd CD in the Boy Better Know 3 mix tape (named Boy Better Know 4: Tropical) and got more plays than the grime CD.
This album = Get the BBQ out; crack the redstripe, roll one and vibe!

Over all; this album didn't really do that well - you can see from the youtube hits and lack of comments on the videos its nothing mindbowing; its pretty loopy and repetitive all the way through but I adore it - it reminds me of a good summer afternoons kicking it with the boys!
Oh well; I love it!
