I created a short tutorial on how to use a audio sample (in this video I use a pad) with a granulizer to create a completely new sound; I recommend watching this in full screen as it has no talking, I opted for a text-based tutorial this time!

Artists/Tracks you may have forgotten about.
If you're like me and listen to a lot of new music, sometimes you forget about some of the great artists that come about and then disappear, some of these are going to be related to bass music and some, not!

Introducing; Dubbel Shot
One of the most amazing things for me within this world is the fact that there is always going to be someone who is younger and better than you at something while people see this as a realisation that some people are just born with more talent, I take it as an inspiration to step up my game.
Johnny "Dubbel Shot" Keating is a 16 year old bass head from South East London who is also the front man of indie-punk band The Provokers who came to my attention through mutual friends around 2 years ago with the track Lonely.
Lonely by Dubbel Shot (yes that is him on guitar!)
So a few months pass and I get a AIM pop-up icon saying "dubbel shot wants to send you a file" I rush to click accept and this is how I knew, I will do everything I can to push his music. The track he sent was the master piece that is, You Know I Know.

With grooving drums, evolving synth stabs and brilliant perc programming, a year later this track STILL gets played out every time I step up in the club, the song is timeless!
Forget by Dubbel Shot
As you can see, Dubbel Shot is a young, talented diverse producer who is making music which needs more attention which was why he was my #1 to featuring in my introducing series.
Show this guy some support and any labels reading, every track ive posted is unsigned :P.
